I responded electronically on a special deal ADT advertised for an alarm upgrade of R 1594.
ADT phoned me back and I agreed to the alarm upgrade.
My fully functional 8 zone alarm was upgraded to a 16 ZONE alarm as per the above agreement.
I however received an invoice for R3, 242.00
The inviioce included
R 1594-00 as was agreed
It also included the following items which was not explained before the instalation
Expander unit - R 316.80
Receiver - R497.64
Call out fee - R400.00
The advertising of a special offer to upgrade your alarm is very misleading surly ADT should explain all the aditional requirements as well as cost involved before the instalation is done.
I only agreed to R1594 as advertised and not R 3 242 that was invoised
I contacted ADT and still awaiting feedback
