On 29 August A sales rep from ADT came to quote on an alarm, We decided against the alarm and informed the rep, he confirmed that he had put the quote on hold and would wait to hear from us. The alarm was never installed, but an amount of R446.40 was deducted from our account on 2nd October.
I phoned and was assured the money would be replaced. Customer service was shocking, no-one seemed to understand that we DID NOT have an alarm. I was not reassured.
Our account was once again debited on 2nd November, this time an amount of R527.25 was deducted.
once again a series of unsatisfactory phone calls ensued. This time I eventually spoke directly to the Sales Rep who told me that he would personally see to it that all money would be returned to us within a week and the debit order cancelled.
An amount of R296.40 was deducted from our account on 2nd December.
ADT has now deducted R 1270.05 from our account for an alarm we DO NOT have and for a service WE DO NOT receive!
As far as I am concerned... that is.
I sent an email to the accounts department and received no response. not even the courtesy of a 'receipt of email' email. Have just now sent another email to customer care.
