ADT security Customer Service Shocking

After going to ADT Technical in Kramerville, Sandton to purchase a new backup battery for our alarm system on 31 July 2013, we realised from the power outage on Monday of this week that the system was working for about 40 minutes and then went dead (ie faulty battery).
I contacted ADT Technical yesterday to request a Technician come and replace the battery, only to be told my Account was "in arrears".
Turns out ADT Accounts had hashed up my Account and another debit form had to be completed, which was done.
Then today I'm told that for a Technician to come and rectify ADT's faulty battery a service fee of at least R400.00 will be charged!!!
This is pathetic Customer service and maybe bigger is not always better.
Seriously considering Beagle Watch Security!!!
