Long story: I needed to change the card number that my debit order was under, and sent through the required forms. I was assured that the details had been captured. Cut forward about 5 months, and I get an email saying that my account is in arrears by several months. I wanted to know why this was the first I was hearing about it, but nobody could give an answer. I told the accounts dept that I'd start paying by EFT instead, since clearly they were incapable of doing simple admin. I was more right here than I thought. I phoned to ask for a complete record of my billing, and predictably, no one responded. Today I get a phone call to say that they've not received payment. Once again, someone clearly not doing their job. I'm done with ADT, and they can congratulate themselves on losing a customer. Frosting on the cake: responses to cancellation emails apparently take a month. Why am I not surprised in the least? ADT "always there"? Bah, "never there" is closer to the truth, if their lack of responses is anything to go by.
