HI, my friend lives in Panorama and received an sms from ADT stating: Free installation & alarm equipment. Value R5000. Linked to DT armed response. Only for monthly response. Limited offer. T&Cs apply. WE contacted the call centre to find out more and they sent out an agent. He claimed to know nothing about this offer and proceeded to quote us - installation costs come to over R4000 on his quote. He also said on the rental said he is not aware of such offers. I again called the call centre and enquired why ADT seems to be doing fake promos and was promised a call back from the area manager (the call centre knew nothing about the sms). That was Friday and I am still waiting. I demand to know what the sms that was sent out relates to - i live 5 mins from my friend who got the sms (an existing ADT client by the way - what a waste of marketing money!?)
