My contract with ADT expired in 2007 I was unaware of these details as I travelled a lot at the time. They did not even bother to inform me that I could now pay less for the same service. Every year an increase was put onto the monthly payment automatically. I recently was informed that I had to phone them to reduce my monthly payment and that they had too many customers to inform when their contract had expired. Seriously?? It is now 6 years later!
I want all my money back that they have "", with the interest that I would have earned if I had invested it. How can a company in this day and age be allowed to operate like this? Do I take this to the consumer council? Maybe a civil case is the way to go. Please give me some advice. I'm sure there are other people who have experienced the same thing.
