I have had ADT for approximately 12 years, paying them every month. I have not seen them in my area for almost a year. I decided to cancel with them due to their bad service, only to be told that they are coming to remove their alarm. This is disgusting as I was told by the rep that knocked on my door that I would own the system after 3 years. 12 years has gone by and if I had not cancelled I would never have known that I was to. I am mot definitely going to look into the Consumer Protection act regarding a company that has not fulfilled their promises and now that the client wants to change, ADT threatens them with removal of their security. FOR HOW MANY MORE YEARS MUST I PAY FOR BAD SERVICE.
