My effort of trying to resolve this with ADT has failed dismally as I am always "transferred" to someone who will help me, when asking to speak to a client liaison manager, but nothing. Tried again this morning and was transferred to Jhb, then they transferred me back to CT, and I was still not attended to after staying on the line for close to 20mins!
Here goes: I cancelled my contract in March 2013, effective 30 April 2013; I then requested cancellation confirmation from ADT but to no avail. ADT continued to debit my account and I could luckily reverse the transactions at the Bank. So yesterday ADT decides to respond to my cancellation confirmation query and they now want to treat it as a "cancellation notice, effective 30 July 2013" and are expecting me to pay for the past months, because of their own failure to process my request; seriously?? The nerve. What control panel were they monitoring? Appalled.
