Multichoice
High handed attitude

Having been given a list of bouquets by Giovision (who are installers) I chose DStv Select 1 specifically because it contained Sky News. This was on Friday 26th April 2013. The installation was done on 29th April 2013. On the decoder being enabled it was found that the bouquet was different to what was listed, specifically no Sky News. Giovision advised that it appears that Multichoice had arbitrarily changed the bouquet on Friday! So what was offerred was not what was ordered. It appears that Giovision were unaware that this change was being made until I started complaining. If the installers are unaware of changes, how are we, the general public supposed to know. The only way now to get Sky News is to subscribe to the Premium Bouquet at about R700 a month. What a rip off! Probably their intention to try and wean you off the lesser offerings.
Roll on some decent competition to this monopoly!
