I wrote up a complaint about a faulty decoder that only lasted 3.5 years. Multichoice responded that I should repair it and quoted a repair cost that is almost the same as what I paid for it which I think is a ripoff. At any rate, I wrote that I decided to cancel subscription in protest. I was told by the call centre that they've requested the refund for the April subscription on the 1st of April and that I should submit my latest statement, ID copy and bank details which I did on the 4th of April. I was told by the call centre that my refund will take 4 to 7 days. It's the 16th April and I'm still waiting. I feel like I'm dealing with a business that does not "walk the talk" - leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
