What a sham is the premium service of DStv, for which we all pay handsomely. Has anyone every tried to use their call centre when having a problem? Not only do you have to wade through a long, annoying automated voice system, when all you want is to speak to a consultant to help you with a problem, but when you do finally get to the part when you can 'press 9 for a consultant', you can wait 20 to 30 minutes to actually speak to someone.
That has been my experience every time I call. A few days ago, I tried again and after trying to get through to a consultant for 30 minutes, exasperated I gave up. And instead I went onto their website and posted a complaint and asked for someone to call me. Their website promises an 8 HOUR TURN AROUND. Well, it is almost two days later and I have not had ONE reply, even after sending another message. Not a word. Nothing.
Are we perhaps held hostage by this service for lack of choice? Lack of Multi Choice.
Very disappointed.
