I've been a Top TV subscriber for almost 2 years now.
The only reason I stuck with them was because my wife and I loved watching TLC.
A few days ago the channel didn't work and I called to log a technical problem and I was advised that the channels are undergoing upgrades and will be up and running by Friday afternoon (20/12/2013).
On Monday (23/12/2013) I called back as the channel was still not up and running, only to find out that TLC & Smash Hits is no longer part of the channels.
Yet to date there has been no notification of termination of the channel and what makes it worse is that the Channel is still listed as one of their channels on their website as well as part of their visual advertising.
Sorry Star Sat, I guess you just made your mark in the broadcast industry as Top TV but I will be changing to your competitor Multichoice very very soon and I'm sure many of the subscribers will be doing so too...
Better watch out because someone will be taking you to task for the false advertising!
