I just returned from trying to watch the new Hobbit movie at Nu Metro. Don't bother. The sound kept cutting out. After half an hour or so had played, they started the movie again from the start. And the sound still kept cutting out. Apparently they couldn't be bothered having one of their own people keep an eye on the sound after the first couple of problems, and customers kept having to get up and go report the problem to the cinema staff. The manager then refused to give anybody a refund, saying that their system didn't allow it. Rather try Ster Kinekor, or buy the DVD.
