I signed up with DSTV compact a few years ago already. However i had a standard view decoder. I then deactivated but Yesterday i bought an HDPVR to start watching sports in HD. I spent over R2500 for the decoder including installation for the entire thing and spent more than 2 hours on the phone with the call centre hosts trying to set it up. First of all the host tried to set up my HD channels only to find out his not able to apply it to my package and he left me to hold to find out. He came back saying its only available on the premium package!!!
If i was told this before the purchase i would not have spent all this money. I said i will accept this if they can point out to me where in the T&C's this is mentioned. but he did not have a cooking clue. Apparently the supervisor was not on duty and my concerns were not addressed. All my calls this was not confirmed so if i account was deactivated and now reactivated it means i never agreed to new terms if that was thew case. I was all my funds reimbursed or it should be included as this is unfair.
Please help me sort this out.
