Walmer Park Nu Metro is just the absolute worst place to watch a movie!
We just watched the new Hobbit movie and their sound system was broken... AGAIN!
So we end up watching a 3D movie with the sound only coming softly through the front middle speaker and occasionally crackling and spluttering loudly as the surround system distorts with a loud bang and then shuts down again.
Zero atmosphere, no sound effects!!
When I complained, once again the official response is that because I am the only one that has complained, the sound must be good enough!
R240 is a lot of money to pay to have your highly anticipated movie experience destroyed!
Instead of being dismissed like I was (again), the least they could do is thank me for bringing this to their attention.
If it was the first time, I might understand, but it happens there all the time.
Management clearly doesn't understand the NB of providing decent sound and picture.
Its not what was advertised and not what I paid for, yet there are no refunds! I shall now have to pay again to see the movie properly elsewhere and I feel that this is very wrong.
When I tried to complain on their official website, the mail is returned.
