I upgraded my dstv package for a day, Sunday 8 December, which costs R20. I paid R20 on sunday afternoon and called to downgrade on Sunday night at 10pm but i called too late as I was not aware that systems go offline at 9pm & I was told to call on monday, 9 December. I did so and downgraded and explained to the operator what had happened & he told me I should pay R20 for monday's viewing within 48 hours or else the service will be disconnected. On tuesday morning, 10 december, I find that the whole service has been disconnected and I cannot watch any tv. The account holder, my dad, then called on tuesday afternoon to query why the service had been disconnected and why we have to pay a reconnection fee and a manager at multichoice said they would investigate, listen to the call made on monday and get back to me within 48 hours. It is now 7 days later and I haven't received any feedback and the servce is still disconnected. I'm very disappointed as it seems that multichoice only pays attention to customers who have full packages and pay the most and other customers who have cheaper packages are left behind without any feedback :(
