Power failure

Good day
We went to see "Justin and the Knights of Valour" yesterday - the 12:15 screening.
About 90 minutes into the movie, a power failure happened. We were left to sit in the pitch-dark cinema. Then an alarm/siren went off and people started leaving because they were worried.
A NuMetro employee then came into the cinema and said we shouldn't leave; they were going to switch on the power and resume playing the movie.
The power came back on and we waited for the last few minutes of the movie to resume playing. However, that did not happen. An employee came into the cinema again and said they could not play the last part of the movie, they would issue us all with readmission tickets.
We got our readmission tickets then, but that screening was unfortunately the last screening of the aforementioned movie - we will not be able to see it at again Woodlands.
And a readmission ticket does not give me back 90-120 minutes of my time.
Can you not but better measures in place for things like power failures?
