We booked tickets for the 17:00pm screening of Oblivion at Monte Casino on 21/04/2013. The movie started about 20 minutes late (due to cleaning services) and after playing for a few minutes the movie was stopped due to technical issues. An announcement was made that we should wait for 10 minutes whilst they try to rectify the issue, after another 35 minutes the announcement was made that the movie screening was cancelled. After driving all the way through to Monte Casino (we live about 20km away) just for the movie and after spending around R 120.00 on the movie tickets for my wife and I and a further R100.00 on snacks and drinks (i know these prices are nuts) we were only given vouchers for the actual movie tickets that we bought. I feel that after all of the effort that people have gone through to come and see the movie and having to wait almost an hour after the movie was due to start (due to cleaning services and technical issue) that Nu Metro could at least provide the customers with vouchers for popcorn and drinks along with the movie ticket vouchers. I know this is petty, but really Nu Metro think about your clients and how you can save your reputation!!
