Last Saturday the 30th of Nov I booked for 4 of us to watch the long awaited "long walk to freedom" at the Nu metro cinema at the waterfront for the 8pm show. Firstly the credit card machines that issue the tickets where not working so I had to join the que to get the tickets.
Then when we entered the cinema it was stifiling hot but i thought that when the movie started that the airconditioning would then work. The floors & seats of the movie house were also not cleaned & looked unhygienic. But to my dismay as the cinema filled up with nearly 300 people in one big room with no aircon the movie house became even hotter & we were all sweating as though we were all locked up in Mandela's cell. It was not a good expierence especially after paying about R55 per person with such terrible facilities.
The following week I contacted Nu Metro hotline & there answer was write a complaint on there website, which I did & still did'nt recieve feedback... Then after trying for 3 days I eventually got hold of the manager at Nu MetroAlsonso who denied everything saying that the aircon was working perfectly yet my cousin had been there before & it was not working then either...
