In August 2012 I cancelled my DSTV contract and insurance as I was retrenched and could no longer afford the subscription. I received an automated response to my email stating that someone will attend to my email and provide me with feedback. Still waiting! On 19th December 2012 I decided to to purchase a Easy view subscription as my decoder had become a brick. I decided to pay 1 year subscription upfront, biggest mistake of my life. The amount the worked out to R447.33 as there was now some outstanding money because my subscription was not cut off on my requested date and an insurance issue. The years subscription was R 240.00 On the 29th May 2013, my services were suspended for non payment. I was told by a call center agent that my payment in December was unallocated and could I please send a proof of payment to them, which I duly did and my service was restored. This is when the Chaos began, my latest statement says i owe them over R400. for a subscription that I paid 1 year in advance!!!The excuses are from the insurance being outstanding, which was cancelled, to me receiving free DSTV from August to December. The only assistance i received is from Maila Lebogang.
