Gateway Floor Manager Badumile is so rude she should be disciplined and not be allowed to work with the public.
We booked tickets weeks ago for Thor/Imax today. The website, confirmation of reservation AND Ticket said the show was at 10h00. We arrived at the cinema complex before 09h00, only to discover the show was at 09h05.
When we queried this, Badumile was dismissive and rude IN THE EXTREME, insinuating we were at fault and offering no solution. When I insisted that we would not be brushed off and would indeed see the movie, she simply took the ticket and walked off in a huff, without any communication as to what was going on and what she was going to do. I had to chase after her and continue to insist VERY FIRMLY that I was within my rights to be allowed admission, and told her I didn't like her attitude.
Thanks to intervention of another staff member we did get to see the movie, albeit a bit late.
It left a very bad taste in the mouth. This is not the first time I have experienced arrogant indifference from Gateway Ster Kinekor staff. This time I'm going public with my dissatisfaction.
I tried to log an official complaint to Ster Kinekor, but their website seems offline
