On Friday 25 October my friend invited me and my kids to join her and hers to go watch Khumba at Ster Kinekor Northgate but due to my being a momentum member, I suggested Nu Metro and we went to Clearwater Mall. When we arrived, excited kids in tow, we were casually told Khumba is not playing and maybe it would play the next day due to a technical problem which they had been experiencing since Smurfs 2 the previous weeks First of all, there was nothing on the website to warn people of such. I know because I wanted to book the tickets online. Secondly, even at the cinema itself, there was no sign anywhere that Khumba was not playing. The manager told us they can't put the notice on the website because a technical problem can be solved anytime. What the heck? They'd been having a problem in that cinema since previous weeks. It would have been nice to have a notice. Then they had the nerve to tell us we can rush to Montecasino quickly. I am so disappointed and find this utter bad service from Nu Metro. We had to leave with disappointed children an.d ended up going to Northgate Ster Kinekor, spending double what we could have spent and watching a late movie. Nu Metro messed us up
