At 19:40 this evening I phoned the call centre to change my incorrectly spelt email address. After correcting it once with a call centre agent and still finding it incorrect (such a mission because self service is not possible), and trying twice a week to get through for the past month, I finally got through tonight. Shockingly the entire call lasted 3 mins. It took 11 seconds for the agent (Phiwe) to pick up the line and 1 min for her to assist me. She was so knowledgeable and even told me who to contact directly if I have any further issues. The fact that her service seems so stellar (when it should be standard) just speaks about DSTV's terrible customer contact service. Thanks Phiwe, but let's see if this was just a once off or if the problem has been remedied.
