On hold time!

I was on hold for 19min, then 5min then 3min with no indication of when some one will answer my call. This is shocking to me. I am not a customer yet trying to become one, I can't imagine the service I will be receiving in the future! I have never gone through such. Bad capacity planning or high disregard for setting the right customer expectation.
