I have contacted the call centre to transfer the dstv decoder and smart card from my mothers name to mine... I thought that if i send in the necessary id's, documentation, this would be a simple process. However as soon as my account is transferred, the amount of R625 that was paid on 27 August for September on the old number (due to the fact that the account had to be paid by 1 September) has become R562.50 on my new account number. Now I am all of a sudden due R65.50 for September. This is seriously dishonest business practices. I could have continued on with the account of my mother, but I thought dstv want their records up to date? I trust you will credit the R65.50 as I have sent you the proof that I HAVE PAID R625 on 27 August for the month of September and NOT R562.50 on 4 September!
