We have done catering for Mnzani - Zabalaza for more than 8 months now at rock bottom prizes. I employ more than 15 members and all of them are sole providers as we employee 5% for skills development. Our catering contract says there needs to follow 3 steps before cancelation of contract and if cancelled it will be a thirty days. They cancelled with immediate effect, later realised that they in breach of contract. They sent us a letter demanding services for a period of 30 days. We did not get paid for the last 2 weeks, my company needed to fund their food for months on end. My staff are furious. We try to resolve the matter with Zabalaza, Urban Brew and Mnet and it all turned on death ears. Is it because my employees are black and work in a catering kitchen that no urgent attention to this serious case. The line producer is playing games every day, hiding not picking up his phone or are always out of office when we need to resolve this asap. In the meantime 6 people are without jobs and money. Is Urban Brew in financial trouble or is Zabalza mismanage their budget. We must all stand up against this abuse. I did leave a urgent msg for the CEO of Mnet no reply either.to continue
