Now, that I have some time on my hands, I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction of our stay at the Southern Sun, Sun Square Hotel at the Suncoast Towers in Durban, 2 weeks ago. The entire weekend of our stay the toilet remained broken, and this caused us extreme inconvenience, as we kept on having to run downstairs to utilize the public toilet in the reception area. What's even worse is that we called twice to complain, and nothing got done about it. I find this totally unacceptable especially from any hotel associated with Sun Int./Tsogo Sun. Is this how the standard has deteriorated? We normally book into the Garden Court in Umhlanga, and have the best time. Not to mention that an item of clothing of mine was from the hotel room. I will never return or recommend this hotel to anyone, worse experience ever! Not impressed.
