In 3 years we had 4 HD PVR decoders, every now and then the decoder's "mother board" over heats and we have to drive to Randburg to get a new decoder. Firstly you loose all your programmes that you have tapped and the box office are loading as from 48hrs!!! This is ridiculous. The last time we where at Randburg was not even a month ago, I tried to advise the lady who assisted us that their must be something wrong with these HD PVR'S, and she didn't even want to listen to what I said or give me a chance to explained what I meant, she just insisted that she test the decoder and found it faulty and handed us a new one. And now 3 weeks later we have problems again with the decoder. We pay R730 a month for what to watch programmes over and over and over until you feel you wane scream, and then when we tape our programmes in the week we afterwards release that one programme only tapped for 8 minutes. This is happening daily. We are frustrated, we also taped a movie and when we want to watch every now and then the PVR have frozen and we have to forward for a few seconds and then it play's nicely for a while. We lost almost half of the movie. PLEASE HELP!!!
