We booked a family room and to our amazement we find a sleeper coach for the two children to sleep on. I was told at reception that this is their standard for a family room and that we should phone house keeping to inform them if the sleeper couch should be dressed with bedding. I did this at 18h10 but nobody showed up so I phoned again at 19h00 and we left for dinner. When we arrived back in the room at 22h05 we saw that the bed was still not made. We tried to do it ourselves but with no sheets available I phoned again and at last some body came to assist us. The mattrass on the sleeper coach was torn and filthy and definitely not to the standard I expected from a hotel like Sun City. This was me and my family's first and definitely last visit to Sun City or any Sun International hotel for that matter. At R 3 700.00 per night I really expected more. Disgusting and low class standards. I stayed at hotels for less than R 600, 00 per night with far better standards and service than Sun City. Never Again!
