Cancellation of DSTV Srvice

My father sent an email on the 8th of December to cancel his DSTV subscription as he was moving to come and live with us and would not require the service anymore. Since then and several more emails it is not resolved. I am not clear on how an email must be worded to get the cancellation done, according to Multichoice he did not "directly" request Multichoice to cancel his subscription. Multichoice then sent an email saying that there is an amount outstanding as he did not close his account. I called Multichoice to discuss the account closure and outstanding amount and the person answering the phone did not know Abigail and I then asked for Nadia, who was busy and I should leave a message and they will call back. It is now day 3 and no return call. My father then visited the local branch where he closed the account. CASE No's 2845113 & 2987037 & 3004522.
