New HD Channel Setup

Yesterday I received e mail notifications about the latest upgrade to be done 30 June. I immediately tried the test using channel 425 as they propose in the notification. However channel 425 did not exist on either of my HD PVR's which are on separate subscriptions and independent of each other. I reset the one system using the reset button, but no channel 425 appeared. So I assumed DSTV had jumped the gun and channel 425 would appear today. Alas no channel 425, so this evening I started looking on Facebook for others who may have the same problem, and lo and behold there is no shortage. DSTV has two stock answers to all queries. Reset using the Menu process OR they assume you are an and give you instructions on how to access and use the grid.
Obviously neither of these pieces of advice help so I sent a number of Facebook comments to ask them for a real solution.
Suddenly a few minutes later channel 425 appears on both independent systems without any further reset, It seems probable to me that DSTV has a solution they can send to your decodes if you bug them, but if you take their original advice and call out an installer at your cost, that is also good.
