In March 2012 I used DSTVs self service portal to disconect my service.
To my suprise I recieved an SMS today demanding R214.04 from me for my outstanding DSTV account. Apparently I had not closed my account but only down graded to the easy view package. So for more than a year multichoice has debiting my account every month so that I'm now in the red with R214.04. Instead of contacting me the first month they did not recive a payment they let the amount accumulate until now.
It could have been sorted out then.
Why not notify me earlier? Why wait a whole year? Money making Scheme?
I phoned the call center and got the run around. Why was this account alowed to be in a debit for more that 8 months.
