Mid city s claim of their migration to a new system is nothing but a scam to try raising money from their financial loss. They moved their account from FNB to Nedbank recently because FNB is a value driven organization and cant promote their unfair dealings.
What they do is, they deliberately misspell your email address so that you dont get your invoice on time, then they claim a debt colletion letter fee for you to pay am amount you are not aware of and threaten to disconnect you and claim a reconnection fee.IT TOOK ME THREE PERSONAL VISITS TO ENSURE THAT IT IS CORRECTED.
Secondly they double bill you on previous readings of which you have already paid, and they claim that their increase fee is July yet they start billing you an increase fee from April.
Their scale category or rates are unclear and they bill you on a thimb suck basis, therefore it doesnt show on how they arrived to their amount, secondly they charge us for sewer of which they dont have a system or a masure which can determine the amount of waste water that one disposes, how do they arrive to that amount and how do they determine and which accounting principle are they applying. Not even one of their financial administrators can give you a direct proper answer ongly to play with words.
The last payments form the last billing sytem before this new redundant system are not accunted for, but they have the odassity of treating it as if they captured it in anew system.
Their billing system is not in consistent Municipal billing principles
