I have rented a property through Dic homes late November last year. Upon occupying the property I was disgusted as to the many faults and repairs needed. The house has leaks in several places, stove does not work, all the doors are pathetic, garage door does not work, hence I cannot park my car in the garage and the list goes on and on. The same was immediately communicated to the agency in detail and this is allegedly with the landlord/owner. The owner has repeatedly blatantly to the agency that she has attended to repairs, however no proof of repairs has been furnished to the agency confirming the repairs. I have formally lodged a complaint with the rental tribunal as I am highly frustrated and do not get any positive feedback about the repairs. The owner has once responded that she is cancelling the lease agreement which is unlawful, this is almost bullying and threatening and not dealing with the issue at hand. I have paid allot to move into this property as well as the monthly rental is not cheap. DIc Homes has not given me any assurance that they will resolve this amicably, they give me the impression that they entertain the and delay tactics from the owner.
