I rented a shop space from Broll at Karenpark Shop 14. I received the shop in an OK State, with some wiring exposed and walls painted in different colours, red white and cream. Upon taking on the shop I took pictures of the state of the shop and then fixed it for my purposes. The main work was re-painting the shop in one colour, and that was orange. My lease expired at the at of August 2013, and I notified BROLL as required. Now I'm waiting for my deposit to be refunded. I have sent them the pictures of the shop as I found it twice already because they asked for it. Now I here from Nadine that there is a dispute about the cost of re-instating the shop, this is after I queried about the deposit. I'm starting to feel this is the case again of big companies taking advantage of small people. There is no case here at all, except for a Big company not wanting to pay me money back. They should have penalised the previous tenant, or, maybe they did, and they just want more money from me as well.
