Terminated contract now they want their monthly

I was staying at flat 1008 cavendish house, I moved out on the 30 september, which I termited my contract. My deposit was forfetted now am getting smses that am owing this monthly rent how I don't know as now they have putted someone in that unit. Can you please assist me with this matter.
