We are renting a house (privately), the first contract that we signed, said that water and lights was included, after we moved in we were told that we had to pay water and lights. And so we did. Then the geyser leaked when we contacted the owner he said that it was our responsibility to replace and pay for it, as we are responsible for maintenance in the house, does that count as maintenance?? Know he says we are also responsible for the rates and taxes on the property as well as the insurance of the house structure? I just want to know is he allowed to expect that for me and what do I do know?
