I moved out of one of the flats in City Property Johannesburg (Royal Place) on the 1st August 2013 and I have still not received my refund back. Over the past two weeks I have been trying to call the office and understand what the holdup is. I was told there is an open job on my account and that is why there's a delay. However, this job card thats been open relates to a pre-existing condition that I found when I moved in there-so effectively they want to charge me for a condition that I found existing at the flat. When I tried to ask who do I speak to with regards to disputing the job on my account, I keep getting transfered to various people or told someone will call me back-which they never do. There is no one who is offering any valuable assistance in this entire process-seems they all want to to pass on the responsibility to someone else. I just want my deposit refund back. This is really affecting me adversely as I had to loose out on securing another place due to there being no assistance. I'm tired of all this nonsence and would like someone to resolve this problem urgently!
