I am appalled at the service which I received from the moment I walked into the AFCHO Offices on Jeppe Street. I moved into no: 315 Textile Centre on Kerk and Goud Street and upon moving in, the door handle was broken, there were tiles missing in the kitchen and we had no globes, the care taker was absolutely rude when she found out we had sent an email to head office. After complaining the door and tiles were replaced. I then had an issue with rent payments and came back to find the flat locked and the same care taker (Thoko) refused to let me in to get clothes to change. I then went to cancel my lease as I could no longer afford payments upon my visit to the offices I was told I would get a portion of my deposit back upon inspection. When the flat was inspected by the same rude care taker she advised I need to pay over R3000 for paint damage keeping in mind I was only there for 2 months, there was no problem with the paint work at all. Spoke to her senior and @ months later I am STILL waiting for her to inspect the flat obviously that will never happen. Their silence amazes me as when they wanted their money I was called EVERYDAY. SHOCKING!!! (Supplier name corrected by)
