Re: complains about the body corporate.
We, the tenants living in Forestdale villas, hereby wish to complain about the measures and penalties taken by the body corporate on us.
Here are a few examples of these penalties that are taken by the body corporate on us.
1. Unnecessary wheel -clamping and payment of R500 penalty for release.
2. Deactivation of remotes without asking or discussing the problems with tenants.
3. Different penalties to different tenants for a similar mistake.
4. Unwarranted refusal to refund deposit for a minor reason.
5. R1000 penalty for a day's delay of rent payment or for check payment.
6. Not allowing any delivery company vehicles and visitors to enter the premises.
There are many more unreasonable penalties taken on tenants at these flats. The body corporate is manipulating the rules of the flats to penalise tenants. The body
corporate chair person is not respecting the tenants. He is not friendly and is autocratic. Generally his approach is not right towards the tenants.
Many tenants have moved out because of his rudeness. We requested the body corporate to reconsider the rules and treat people with respected manner.
