Am a vey unhappy individual that rented an apartment in cape town with national letting they have refused numerous time to fully give me back my total deposit money citing various reasons like i breach of contract, admin fees and late notice. I intially singed a 1 year lease contract with this company after two months i then got a better job offer in pretoria i had to relocate . i Informed the agency about my situation i moved out of their apartment on 9th of april i paid fully for that month i then assisted them in finding a replacement to take over the apartment in which i advertised immediatelty. They then informed me that i will forfit R1000 of my deposit money i was okay with that for peace sake. But now they have refunded me only R3200 how on earth do they get to keep R3900 more than 55 % of deposit money can you please assist this matter should be escalated further because its unfair and unethical.
