Phoned Mogale City Call Centre last week Wednesday to request a utility bill, as none were delivered to me due to Post Office strikes (I've seen that the max allowable amount went off via my monthly debit order so I knew I was still owing some amount and wanted to settle it). By the weekend I have not received anything yet (neither by today - the following Tuesday). In spite thereof they had the audacity to send me an SMS over the weekend, threatening to cut my power if I do not pay the outstanding amount within 3 days! To crown it all my outstanding amount on the SMS is R1, 100 - a thousand rands more than at any previous time in my life - and I don't know what for!
Any attempt to phone the Call Centre number (or even the Team Leader's direct number) proves futile as your call is discontinued immediately when it starts ringing. What a useless, mean bunch and municipality!
