Compensation Commissioner
Permanent Disability Injury On Duty

I was injured on duty Feb 2012 while on duty- I slipped and fell at work on my left elbow, Fractured all the bones a persons elbow can have, I have screws and plates in my arm to help for some more movement as my injury caused that I lost all available movement in my arm- I Am still to this day in so much pain from this injury it disrupts my way of living as it is a constant reminder of all I have been through. I have completed and sent all the required document that the compensation fund has asked for I have had more than one Dr fill in and sign the forms to prove I have a permanent disability. But despite all my effort to contact and the centre and despite the fact that they ask me to contact back in 3 weeks (every 3weeks they say to contact back again in 3weeks) and to this day there is no progress concerning my claim, every time its the same excuse. When does a person ever get a timely response from them. Who is the correct person to speak to, who does not treat you or your case like just another bug on the wall. I need clarity to when I will receive what is due to me.

Thank you
