Early September, our water supply was interrupted during the day approx 6am - 8-9pm daily. The Municipality didn't have the decency to inform affected residents prior to this. After about a week we heard that there was a crack in a reservoir and maintenance was being done. We were supposed to be without water till the end of September. When the water cuts continued into October a statement was issued on 14th October by the Municipality that the repairs will be completed at the end of October. For 1 week from 29th Oct - 4th Nov I had uninterrupted water supply. The next day (5th November) till today 9th November I have not had water again from 6am - after 9pm daily. This is disgusting as there has again been nothing sent to affected residents. On Thursday I called the Infrastructure department and they passed the buck - just told me to call a cell no & gave me a name - the number was incorrect. I called the municipal offices for another contact number - when I called the number it was the Krugersdorp Private Hospital. Such a bunch of incompetent employees - and we pay taxes so they can get salaries. When will the municipality adjust my levy for non delivery? Vote them out!
