My father who was injured years back in a car accident had a claim against the Road Accident Fund that went on for many years, the attorney at hand always responded it is due to court session etc. My father never received compensation whilst alive yet the claim was paid out within months after his death.
My father passed away due to Brain Cancer which is not related to the injuries he suffered from the accident however the attorney that dealt with my fathers case managed to get this claim paid within months after his death and even provided me with false information via email. This matter should be investigated I feel it is unfair to payout claims after the claimant is deceased. My fathers suffering was while he was alive not after his death!!! This raises questions and left me no other option but to call the Legal department and enquire about this I was told that the file should have been closed.
