A contractor hit into a main water pipe on our neighbours property who are building at 10 am lasts week Wed. WE called Johannesburg water to report the huge water leak. We got a reference number. We then followed up a day later as they had not arrived to repair it and 100's of litres of water were flowing down the driveway into the street. Both other neighbours tried calling to report it. Eventually a private plumber was called. It has been 5 days and Johannesburg water never arrived to repair the leak. Will they pick up the repair using the independent plumber and will they pay for the huge water wastage?
