My 85 year old father- in- law has been unsuccessfuly trying to get his original IRP5 from The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF). He needs this for SARS. He never received the original. He went to the Cape Town who gave him a duplicate IRP5.. After queing for hours at SARS (2nd time) SARS said they must have the original. His e-mail requests to GEPF has never been answered. In an attempt to help him I have been trying to contact the call center number on the website. For more than a week I have been dialing the number (I'm putting it on speakerphone!) without getting through to anybody. How do I solve this for him?
