Today 26/8/2013 at 14h50 I was driving behind a MyCiti bus in Gie Road, Table View. The bus stopped at a stop street, and schoolchildren were getting off. While I waited patiently behind it, a Cape Town Municipality Solid Waste Management truck with registration no CA 435 897 overtook at speed both my vehicle and the bus across a solid line, and crossed over the 3-way stop - all without stopping or even paying attention to the children alighting from the bus, or any cars coming from the side road. This was extremely dangerous on so many counts. When I called to complain I was passed to 5 different people, all of whom left me hanging on for a minute or so, and no-one bothered to assist me - thus HelloPeter.
