In all this time I've been using the Gautrain and its bus services, I never had a problem, but on 29 July 2013 the driver were realy driving like a hooligan! I have a guide dog and I am partially sighted, so I can't see when a driver of a vehicle will go around a corner or stop rapidly at a stop sign.
In my case we went around a corner, I literally fell off my chair, while we were turning. I was sitting on the one step seats facing each other I landed underneath another persons legs, that was sitting across me on the other side with the 2 step seats, facing towards each other.
This was at about 08:00 on the Brooklyn bus, on my way to work.
In this accident I broke my finger and cut open my leg. I went to the dr. had to go for an operation to get my finger fixed (It was broken- part of my joint and bone) and got stiches in my leg. I am doing a lot of typing work and had to be booked of because of this, It been almost 3 weeks and I still had no feedback from the Gautrain personel except an 'sorry'.
Their 'sorry' is not going to help me pay for all the medical bills or the pain.
A reply or response to this email will be appreciated.
