I am blown away by the speed of service for my passport application.
I applied for a new passport on Wednesday last week and received and SMS the following Tuesday to notify me that it was ready for collection.
My ID book delivery was equally as impressive.
Now all we have to do is improve the efficiency for the actual submission of the appllication, as the process of queuing for submission, payment and then live capture is not effective, and it can be painfully slow to submit the application.
My overall impression is good and I have to give the department credit for it continual improvment of the system.
